The word “Medio” is used in Chile to say “Half”, “Average” and also to
emphasise certain half way characteristics of a person. In this short we
play with all those meanings. This “Average Chilean” tells us about his life
using repeatedly the word “Medio” to describe things. Finally we realize
that he’s also cut in half.
This short film describes the average life of the average Chilean people
with a technique which mixes pictures, designs and real textures to create
an interesting looking environment.
I worked on the script and directed this short film.
