STEAM & Design Thinking for designing the city

This was a 5 days workshop organized by Paper Lab and La Tata Robotica in the primary school of Ravarino, Modena. It was part of a summer camp with 30 kids from 8 to 12 years old. Through the creation of the city we talked in a playful way about the phases of a design project. Finally the city got alive thanks to robotics.

After a first phase of Brainstorming about what is missing in our cities, each group of kids designed a city with their own identity. After this, all the cities were joined through the main streets and a "Public Transport" system using Ozobots.

I joined the team of Paper City and La Tata Robotica to guide the kids through the brainstorming and the design process of the cities.
